Vehicle security for classic cars, youngtimers and special cars

Diagnosis, repair and installation of car alarms, GPS vehicle tracking systems and solutions for vehicle electronics faults. First find out what's going on, then decide what needs to be done.

Your classic car deserves security you can rely on.

From a nuisance old car alarm to modern vehicle tracking.

Problem recognition

Has your car developed a mind of its own?

Many classic cars and youngtimers still run on an aftermarket alarm system that's 10, 15 or 20+ years old. Age, moisture, outdated wiring and worn sensors then cause faults that present as a single complaint but usually have a chain of causes.

The alarm goes off by itself, often at the worst possible moment

The remote control no longer works, or only intermittently

The central locking does strange things

The car no longer starts, or the battery drains while parked

Old or modified wiring from a previous installation

The GPS tracker gives no position, or an unreliable one

Nobody remembers which alarm system was ever fitted

One outdated module or a poor earth connection can cause a series of complaints that seem unrelated at first glance. That's why we first examine exactly what's been fitted and how it's connected — only then comes the decision: repair, adapt, replace or install a new system.

Modern security without doing violence to your classic car

A classic isn't a modern car with an old body. There's no off-the-shelf interface, the wiring is decades old and several hands have often already worked on the car.

  • Respect for the original wiring and reversible interventions
  • Taking into account what was fitted in the past
  • Following the vehicle's architecture instead of working against it
  • Working within the limited space behind panels and trim
  • Safeguarding the vehicle's value and originality
  • Future maintainability: the next technician must be able to understand it

Mobile service

We come to your car

Is your vehicle in a garage, storage unit or classic car facility? For many diagnoses, repairs and installations, we come to you, so the car doesn't have to be moved unnecessarily.

More complex work — extensive disassembly, persistent electrical faults or a complete rebuild of an installation — is better done in the workshop. We'll tell you honestly what makes most sense in your situation. Service area: België.

About Deon Technics

Behind this work is a technician, not a chain

You speak with John, technieker & zaakvoerder. The same person carries out the diagnosis, performs the work and afterwards explains exactly what happened.

The focus is on vehicle electronics, diagnostics and aftermarket security systems in classic cars and youngtimers: practical problem-solving and custom work where a standard solution doesn't fit.

This site deliberately doesn't feature inflated figures, certificates or brand names. What's written here is accurate.
